Email

hello@ausroopokies.com

We reply within two business days. There is no form on this site, no live chat and no phone line; email is the only channel, and it goes to the editors directly.

What to send

A correction. Tell us the site, the page on AusRoo, the figure you think is wrong and, if you can, a screenshot of the operator’s page with the date. We re-read the operator’s page, update the record and the verification date, and note the correction on the review.

A question about a review. Ask. If the answer is useful to other readers we add it to the review’s FAQ.

An operator complaint. We cannot resolve a dispute between you and an operator, and we cannot recover funds. We do read every report, and a pattern of complaints about a site changes its score. Include the site, the date, what happened and what the operator said.

A responsible-gambling concern. If you think content on this site encourages harmful play, tell us which page and why. If you need help for yourself or someone else, call Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858 first; our responsible gambling page lists other services.

Operators. If you run a site we list and a figure is out of date, send the current promotion page and we will re-verify. We do not accept payment for placement or scores, and we do not take down reviews on request.

What we will not do

Send marketing, share your email with anyone, or pass it to an operator.

What happens after you write

Every message is read by an editor, not a mailbox rule. For a correction, the editor opens the operator’s page, compares it with our record, and either updates the record and its verification date or replies explaining why the record stands. Either way you get a reply that says what was checked and what changed. Corrections that change a figure on a review page are noted at the bottom of that review with the date.

For an operator complaint, the editor logs the site, date and substance. One report does not change a score; a pattern of reports about the same failure (withdrawals refused for the same stated reason, bonus credit removed after the fact, live chat unreachable for days) does, and we say in the review that reader reports contributed. We may write back to ask for the operator’s response so that we can quote both sides.

For a question, we answer directly. If the answer is one other readers would want, we add it to the relevant page’s FAQ without identifying you.

Media and research enquiries

Journalists and researchers are welcome to use figures from this site with attribution and a link. If you need the underlying records for the 18 tracked operators (bonus terms with dates, deposit methods, studio lists, test-log dates), ask and we will send them as a spreadsheet. We do not share reader correspondence.

Response times and what we cannot do

We reply within two business days, Australian Eastern time. We cannot contact an operator on your behalf, recover money, or advise on whether to play. If your message is about gambling harm rather than about this site, the fastest help is Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858, which is free, confidential and open 24 hours a day.

Postal address

AusRoo does not publish a postal address. Email reaches the editors directly and is the channel we monitor.

Language

Write in English. We read Chinese and Malay as well, but replies are in English so that they can be quoted if a correction follows.
